Dr Anna Lembke, MD is the professor of psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine and chief of the Stanford Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic. She returns to BG Radio to discuss the content from her book “Dopamine Nation; Finding Balance in the Age of Indulgence.” In this first of two interviews, Anna begins the discussion on addiction by sharing the story of how one of her patients built a masturbation machine and kept modifying it until it became dangerous. As she writes in her book, “We are all of a sort engaged with our own masturbation machines.”
