Hi Steve,
My question is when do you go to bed? Are you tired when you go to bed? If not...dont go to bed because that will allow you time to masturbate.
Do you have some one in the church you can confide in? If so...see if they would allow you to call them when the urge comes up.
Hang in there, with God nothing is impossible brother!

| I go to bed between 10-midnightm but I have a hrd time getting to sleep. Part the temptation to 'm' but a lot of spiritual warfare. A lot of depressing thoughts come to my head and keep me up at night. By the way, why did you call me Steve?

Hmm, one thing that usually works for me is to go out of isolation. I dont know if its applicable with you, but most of the time i always leave my door open so that i wouldnt do something wrong.
Try to excercise or jog or just get tired so that you would enter to slumber... with the thoughts of depression, hey im having those as well... reading helped alot (since i dont read much i fall off to sleep after 2 paragraphs).
Try listening to music as well to keep your mind working out of it, maybe preachings or teaching so that you can interact with it as well as you write down notes and browse through your Bible.
Another suggestion, and i strongly suggest this one, is just have a conversation with God... have a casual one like your talking to someone on the phone. I know He wouldnt mind to hear your cries, aches... im sure it will lead to prayers as well... Its actually fun,
Hope to hear back from you

spe102580,
How are you doing?
The things I do before bed, aside from checking in here and looking around, which I normally do right after my evening devotions, are I listen to either praise music, a audio Bible or a preaching message. I get my ears full of the word of God and I leave the it playing until I go to sleep.
God Bless
