Okay,
I have been researching whether or not to go to a sleep doctor and I made an appointment for one in August, but heres a large part. I can't find a comfortable position to sleep becuase my problem with 'm' is SO bad, I get an erection from merely laying on the bed. I don't have to do anything or even think about anything, it just happens, and the most comfortable positino that allows me to relax physically is having my hand you know where. After I have ejaculated and or masturbated it doesnt matter but until I have done it that is how biologically it works with me. So I twist and turn trying to keep my hands out or away but I still get a hard-on. What do I do?

Not a specific problem I've ever had, so this may be useless advice, but what would happen if earlier in the evening you got some serious exercise? I find it relaxes me a lot to cycle an hour or 2 as fast as I can, or, when I was a little younger an my knees were more nearly up to spec, to run even a few miles. Even doing that early in the day helps me get to sleep quickly at night.

You could try sleeping with a jock strap. Early morning "wood" is a common problem and I've heard that a jock can stop the "wood." I haven't tried it yet but may resort to it as a last resort. I wouldn't recommend this unless you'd tried everything else! Guitarist63

SPE102580, I tried this contraption (a jock) last night and I have to say that it doesn't work for me. Couldn't sleep most of the night until removing it and going back to normal attire. Certainly it stops the "wood" problem but I am not qualified to say whether this, in medical terms, might have a deleterious effect on normal functioning within marriage later on! Actually, the label warns that you should not sleep with it! Guitarist63
