Thank you for having a place to come and open up my heart.
I am a male, 48 years old and happly married for 18 years. I have one step son and two beautiful grandchildren.
The biggest problem I have is porn, maturbation and talk about women that it is getting very bothersome that I want and need to quit.
I am a born again Christian for nearly 19 years, attend church regularly, attend church activites, belong to a motorcycle ministry and work long hours. I enjoy being on the computer doing newsletters, paying bills and will frequently wander off to a porn site, and do those awful things usually at lunch time.
I need help and Thank You Mike for having a news flash on KKTV 11 News about Blazing Grace. That was the beginning of a life change that has allowed me to state the things I have done and allowed me to see that I am not alone in this struggle and would like to quit doing it.
I probably masturbate at least 4 times a week and sometime 2 times a day. I will always be looking at porn sites when doing this. I do look at other sites that will alway get me hot and wanting it even more. I am stating that I need help and need a way to find help in getting it stopped. I use to read my bible every day and am now needing to get back to reading it and doing waht God wants be to do and be.
Thank you for having a place to state my feeling and actions so that others may not follow in my steps and will also allow me to grow in a way that God wants me to be.

Have you tried Settingcaptivesfree.org? That and Celebrate Recovery have really been a help to me. I have been m/b and porn-free since August of 2005.

Greetings. Also, a few more resources:
http://www.everymansbattle.com (They have great weekend conferences with telephone groups for attendees afterwards.)
I'm a therapist myself, and so I won't "drop my link" here, but there are quite a few counselors these days who are specializing in sexual addiction. Some are even doing telephone-based cousenling for those who live in rural areas or who have "high profile" positions/jobs. (Do a simple google search for "sexual addiction counseling" and add your area.)
Also, Sexaholics Anonymous might have a group in your area. http://www.sa.org
There's lots of good reading material out there. "Every Man's Battle" is a very good one and any of Doug Weiss' books have been helpful for me.

Mike, I will have to see where I am in regards to my schedule and have a need to be at home with my wife right now. I have been working so much and am updating the settings on my computer to prevent me from going to those bad bad sites.
