Hi all.
First time, but I was on another (secular) PA forum last year. Everything was going great the bam..on halloween I slipped and have been trying to quit again since. I know what happened too. I let down my guard. I was confident, didn't need Jesus to help with it anymore and so on Oct 31 I was blindsided by raging temptation and fell. And I deserved it. I can't take a single breath except by the grace of God. In fact my very existence depends on Christ's Word sustaining it. How could I ever believe the lie that I can overcome sin ans Satan on my own?
I've learned a thing or two about myself, my problem and a lot about God, sin and Satan. I'm sick of porn and ready to fight my sin. Satan has no weapon to destroy me...so why should I give in to him? I have been forgiven by God by the blood of Christ. Time to follow my Lord and King.

Welcome to BG. I trust that you will find the support and encouragement that you seek here, and are also taking measures in your daily life to combat temptation and ferret out the roots of addiction.

It's good to see you here and beginning to take steps in the right direction to combat this sin. Our war isn't against flesh but the spiritual forces in the heavens (2 Corinthians 10 verse 4) that oppose God so I pray that your prayers will begin to show that God alone in you will defeat this. I am not free myself yet.

Welcome, and we're glad you're here. I love what you said about not even being able to take a single breath except by the grace of God.
Have you been seeking recovery on your own, or have you found a local person or group for support?
