Welcome to Blazing Grace, Bruised Reed.  You have obviously had a tough life but it's good to hear you say that you know God loves you.  Hang onto that.  I found that in late 2006 and the first half of 2007, crying occurred a lot and I am not a crying type.  I would hardly cry from year to the next, if any.  If it is the result of a broken and contrite heart, then the results of that should be evident in time.  Am I changed into someone who loves and seeks God as a consequence of going through that experience?  Or does it become self-pity?  Self-pity is destructive.  We have to shake ourselves out of the "poor me" state and recognize that stuff happens in our lives, some of it we are responsible for, some not.  Part of my recovery from porn addiction was hope - hope in Jesus Christ and hope in complete deliverance from sexual immorality.  That's not to say that Christ does not bring repentance for all sin. I don't ignore the fact that my sinful state is a lot more complex than just sexual sin.

I hope you find help and healing here.

Reed,
You need to forgive yourself. The things you wrote are things that have been done by man and will continue being  done by lesser men. You have identified your weaknesses and your feelings. Once you have identiified the problems you begin working toward the solutions. If you think for one minute that you'll live the prefect life then you're in for a long stressful time.

You're a man, making mistakes though his life. The feelings you have toward the women you refer to, you just might consider telling her.  Write her a letter about how you feel, basically what you wrote in your post. She might be able to help you.

Tell the truth
