hey new guy here. ive been saved for a few years but i need help with porn addiction. this is where im at with my addiction: i know i have it so bad that i stayed without internet at my own place for years.. now i live with my girlfriend and she insists that we have it and ive been falling into bad habits recently. im working up the courage to talk to her about my problem which isnt so hard because i know she has it a little too (she doesnt know ive seen her browsing history). anyway, so im gonna nail this thing once and for all this time... ive always had God's help but i need accountability. im also working on offline people to talk to but this is an asap thing.
so i need one of the filters to show someone my internet access and someone to do it with... can anyone help?

hi breakthru, you have made a good first step. accountability is a must.
you absolutely need to talk to your gf about your problem. your living arrangements concern me though.
i am happy to hear you are a christian and that you are determined to rid yourself of the sins that ensnare you. as far as filters, i think there are several references to good filters on this site as well as many wonderful people here who desire to help each other with their problems.

hello again......
here's an update: not too long after i first posted here my girlfriend and I got married. we prayed and sensed that we have been together long enough (over 2 years dating) to know that God brought us together and it would be the best thing to do. we are now in an awesome church where we are meeting great people and are growing in the Lord.
but i still need help with my porn addiction. especially now that im married i want to kick this habit more than anything. someone please help me to have an accountability partner. i had one recently and i did so well on my end but he stopped responding as i think he was too ashamed to talk to me anymore about falling.
i have x3watch and i can put your email address in. i will keep in touch with you and be very honest about everything.

I'm glad to hear that you are married, as living together presents a phenominal amount of temptation toward impurity.
This site is designed to provide encouragement and support, and you may indeed find someone who is willing to share internet accountability, but it is real life accountability that you need. You might check to see if there is a
Celebrate Recovery
group, or other recovery program in your area, which can be both a great avenue for support and locating accountability.
Did you talk to your wife about your struggle, and what you saw in her history?
