Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Michael, and I am a Christ-follower, who has had toruble with sexual addiction to porn since I found a stash in my step-dad's office when I was a teenager. There are periods where I've really struggled with it, and periods where I have felt I couldn't really do anything about it, as evidenced by it still being an issue in my life. I am still married, by the grace of God, and have been for 12 years. I own a computer support company, have graduated from seminary, and have a life call to help wounded people in their path of spiritual & emothional healing.
As for the sexual addiction now, it is still something I am dealing with, and I am now in weekly accountability (as of last week) with another Christ-follower and minister who has the same struggle. I am amazed at and veyr thankful for the grace of God to persist in working out His plan for our lives.
We are interested in starting a Strength In Numbers group in the Phoenix area, as the only thing around are SA groups (which, while I respect and admire what they are doing, are not quite the right philosophy and approach for me).
I really appreciate the honesty as I read the posts, for as we all are aware of, this addiction thrives on secrecy.

Glad to have you here, I like your pseudonym here, purebygrace, how true it was.
I am also accountable to my pastor and several of my friends, but most of my daily accountability is right here. Please keep me accountable too.

Welcome, Purebygrace.
Good to have you here. I have an accountability partner in another country who emails me every day (sometimes several times a day) and whom I also pray for regularly and he likewise. It's making a big difference in the struggle with this sin. I also aim to be accountable here and not to hide my sin.
Psalm 32 describes the effect of keeping silent about sin. Verse 3-6.
