My husband says that when we have sex the lights need to be on.  He says that men are visual and they need this.  I want to know is this true for most men?  eve

Hello Eve,

According to Dr. Douglas Weiss on his DVD "The Best Sex of Your Life, For Men Only", when a man climaxes, what he is looking at or envisioning is what he connects with. So if your H is looking at you, seeing you with his eyes open and the lights on, when this happens then he is connecting with you... and that's a real good thing.

In my experience, with the four SA's I've been married to, they want to have the lights off and their eyes closed so they can objectify me and fantasize about other women. In other words, I become a flesh tool for the sole purpose of reaching their temporary state of euphoria. My H does not want to connect with me on any level, he'd rather keep me as his flesh tool than as an intimate life and love partner.

So, your H asking for the lights on so he can see who he is with and imprinting you into his mind is a real good thing.

Blessings and Life to you.

Thankyou for your input.  It makes me more at ease.  I  am really sorry to hear   about your situation with your husband. This must be very difficult for you.  I sure have found out that there is no quick fix in any of these problems.  Thanks be to God for helping me find this sight and at least I can pray for your situation.   My husbands SA has had such an effect in my life .  Like nothing else I have ever experienced.  Even though we are on the mend, I dont feel I will ever be the same.  But I do have faith that God can heal us.  We have been in a battle for a long time and we are growing .  Little by Little.    Will pray for you often,  Eve
