I'm reading Waking The Dead by John Eldredge for the third time now, and again, all I can say is "wow". What a heart-piercing kind of book. Eldredge states the case that living from the heart is where we enjoy all the freedom and joy that Christ wants to give us.

There's no way I can articulate how moving, challenging and hope-giving this book is, but I will say chapter three brought me to tears this morning as I sat in a McDonald's this morning. Every time I've read this book, the Holy Spirit has worked powerfully in me, and I don't say that for many books whatsoever.

My husband finally stepped out of his comfort zone and joined a men's study.  The book they are reading is this one.   I hope it moves my husband too.
