Hi all,
I've just read a book ...
http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=948335&netp_id=474040&event=ESRCN&item_code=WW
that tells me that instead of having to conjure up some quantity of belief/faith in God to impress or please Him (as Abraham did and as the Roman centurian did in Jesus time), I have been given THE measure of THE faith OF Jesus Christ '...according as God has dealt to every man THE measure of faith', Rom 12:3.

Living as a defeated Christian for most of my adult life due to secretive P&M, this idea, which according to the author is what Ephesians is all about, extinguishes much of the "lack of faith" guilt that my SA imposes and gives me renewed hope for what comes out of my mouth.

I was tempted to discard the book at about 1/3 of the way through saying "yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before". Fortunately that didn't happen and I've discovered new insights into why God doesn't conform to my understanding of his role in my life.

The book is not directed to sufferers of SA per se, but to all who have received THE MEASURE which I believe all of us here have.
