There is a co-worker at my office job who I know pretty well. I recently found out that he was an atheist, and now I worry for him. I also know that he is single, but he fornicates frequently and watches porn and participates in all of these such ungodly activities.

Now, I know this is a bad thing because I have never had sex with a woman--I've never even kissed anyone besides my mother and grandmother because I am incredibly devoted to the Lord and his teachings, and God who says clearly in the Scripture that we should not have sex with anyone until marriage--I cannot find a direct quote, but I know that it says it in there because I have almost read the whole thing through.

He has also told me about his theories on "evolution" which I find are so inadequate. I mean, why would we evolve from monkeys? It's so ridiculous how people can think that, because why would God want us to be there if monkeys were already there? Also, he thinks that miracles don't happen, but my friend, Ken, just told me that a tornado ripped by his house, and he was SAVED by God because he prayed that he could get out of the house in time, and he did. So, I think all these atheists are just misguided and they don't know what they're talking about; I don't care what kind of scientists back evolution or what these stupid archaeologists say, my mind just can't comprehend how this evolution thing could work (I've read the first couple chapters of "The Origin of Species" even, and I still can't see how it works).

Anyways, I guess, I just need prayers that we can transform this man into a genuine Christian, because I think he's a really cool person, and he's probably way more intelligent than I am even, but he just cannot see God's light shining towards him like I do. I just don't want a perfectly good person to go to waste by believing in the wrong thing.

Thank you, and God bless all of you, especially those who pray for my friend,

Praying for your friend...  And, as a note, as per posting rules you can and should ignore posts that are attempting to draw you into an argument on religious doctrine...

I thank you for your prayers. I just hope that the correct answer falls before him before he is past saving. I would not want him to remain a heretic, because I've read some of Dante's Inferno, and I suppose it'd be bad if he went to Hell like that. I want him to go to heaven so that he can live eternally without sin.

You should read whole books my friend.

Have you read the other parts to Inferno?  Virgil also goes through Purgatory (hmm, maybe he shouldn't read it, just as a note, I'm not trying to push Catholic literature, I mean I wouldn't want to advocate anything but the true revelation of the Bible, I'm just trying to get him to finish reading the thing... it's really good literature, even if some of Dante's beliefs were a tad off.) And eventually to Heaven.  He describes heaven in great metaphors and really brings it to life in ways that you don't really get from the Bible. (not saying that Dante's version is correct, I mean... who really knows what heaven is like... I guess only God and Jesus, maybe Satan.  (Though they may have made renovations since he was cast out, lol))

Any ways, I will be praying for your friend, but what is his name?  I find prayer to be much more effective if I can ask the Lord with a name, instead of just 'this guy I know online has a friend... etc.'
