My prayer request is to keep me sober obviously and to help me through the loneliness. I know god can take it away but sometimes I'm stubborn. So ask god to take that stubbornness away and to take away my self guilt. A lot of it is centered around what I did to my ex-fiance. It's in the past but I can't get over the guilt and shame.

Thanks.

Hi Lkg4hlp,

Always remember God's promises in His Word.  Read the Bible and devote more time in prayer.  Our enemy will do and is doing everything to distract our walk in God.  Because the enemy doesn't want us to be free from our sins or from our bondage.

Here are some bible verses to claim God's promises to us:

Psalm 46:1 > GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Isaiah 41:10 > "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

And this is one of my favorite verses:  Romans 8:35-39 > For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Be strong in your faith, God is true in His promises.  He is not a man that He should lie.  He will accomplish everything He promised in His Word.

"He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus."

Philippians 1:6

Yours in Christ,

Amor

Lord,

Thank you that lkg4hlp has decided to continue to seek you and others for support.
I pray that you help him through his feelings of loneliness.  You are always there for
us and often point us in many directions for support.  I pray that lkg4hlp will find good
friends that he can trust and be honest with.  I pray that you will use this time that he
has to work within him and to provide inner healing.

Jesus, I pray that lkg4hlp accepts that your sacrifice on the cross was enough, and
that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.  For the law of the Spirit of life
in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and of death.  In addition, I pray
that he acts on this belief; that he start taking care of himself and doing good things to
treat his body as a temple.  I pray that he finds new joy in life during this time and it
will make him stronger and more warm and loving.

Amen
