In case the members and visitors are not all aware of it, there is a Global Day of Prayer and prayers have been carrying on from 17th May - 10 days of prayer, 24 hours a day. In England, there is a main TV network live coverage from York Minster on Pentecost Sunday, 27 May 2007.
"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7, verse 14.
The evening at York Minster will be of prayer and worship, embracing many traditions of the Christian church.
