Thank you for this wondeful site, and for all the ladies who have posted. Before I was a Christian I realized my struggles as a SA. When I found Christ I was more cautious, but still struggled. I was particularly encouraged on here by other females talking about Mental Affairs, I have never heard of such a thing, yet sadly amidst my incredible happiness in my relationship, I have been doing this. I want nothing less of respecting my relationship 100%, but it seems my mind and sense of excitement lusts after other things.
I will tighten up my mind and start taking thoughts into captivity. I know this isnt a quick process, but any success stories or techniques would be great.

Hi Christiangirl26, nice to see you here... it takes courage to seek help and understanding for issues so easily misunderstood... you have a safe place here...
Can you tell me a little more about yourself? How did you come to realize you had issues with SA? in your SA are your thoughts and fantasies causing you to seeking sex with others and/or are you struggling with masturbation...
I'm so blessed to hear you are a Christian... I remember the intense guilt after I became a Christian and then found myself still struggling... and even after I married I still struggled... to find there were many unresolved issues in my heart and life and was using (m) as my medication from pain... and as I have faced those issues I have found wonderful freedom...
Temptations? yes.... struggles? yes... temptation is not a sin... but what we allow our mind to do with that temptation.... the thoughts not taken into captivity in obedience to Christ... they can lead to acting out... It seems you already understand that...
you speak of a "relationship"... are you single, married, dating...
and thank you for trusting us... Be taking care of yourself... and do keep in touch with us.

Welcome, Christiangirl26, it's great to have you on the forums! It's been a while since you posted, how are you doing?
I don't feel like my story is a success story, but a journey, thus my user name. Perhaps you have read some of my posts. I think we are all learning together, it is a spiritual battle and thanks to God we are on the winning side.
Along with Diane, I would ask you to tell us some more about yourself and your current relationship. Also are you in a church or Christian community of some sort, like a Bible study or other?
Let us hear how things are going!
