Foh,
I want to comment about the God made men horny statement. The perpensity for lust was not in Adam. If you take a prayerful pondering look at Genesis 3:16, you will notice that sin changed everything includung physical dynamics. We are now all born with a sin nature. Would you say that selfishness is good and right because you were born selfish? Would you say that God wants you to be selfish because He made you that way?

One more thing. I have heard the Jesus was tempted in every way argument to try to justify evil desires. We need to be very careful about this. Are you saying that Jesus fought evil desires for every possible wicked thing? This isn't even true of every human. We all fight some kind of evel desires, but we don't fight every evel desire. There are many evil things that I have never had the desire to do.
James 1:13-15
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

The word tempt or temptation has 2 meanings. One is to be enticed. This means a desire to do evil, therefore one can be enticed or drawn in by something. However, there is another meaning for the word temptation which simply means test. Jesus was tested in every way. He was not full of every evil desire possible and therefore able to be enticed by them. If this isn't clear enough, look at the passage above. God can not me tempted. Yet we know from the gospels that Jesus was tempted in every way. How can these two things be reconciled? Jesus was tested, but God(Jesus) can't be drawn away by evil desires.

Welcome!
FOH was someone who came here at the end of September, made a total of 8 posts showing IMHO a breathtaking lack of sensitivity, and then left on October 2 and hasn't been back since. He's not representative of this forum, nor is he a poster here now. You can probably safely feel free to focus your gentle and correct educational efforts somewhere else.
This board isn't terribly active right now, but there are people here who get it a little better than FOH did and who can be positive sources of support and sharing if that's what you are here seeking.

Thanks Tim. I have major insomnia, and last night I couldn't sleep so I had plenty of time to respond,lol. These issues have come up a lot for me, so I have sought the Lord intensely on these issues.
