I started the first area (sqeaky Wheel) with the intentions of getting some feedback from people that have had problems getting jobs, housing, counseling, etc. I am wanting to hear about what has happened as far as these problems, who to contact, or where to go, I am sorry for saying this, but wondering if there is a home builders show in FL is not what I am looking for.
We all share a common area in our lives, we have a very HUGE addiction that will NEVER have a cure, the only cure is if we REALLY have JESUS in our hearts, and learn to put our TRUST in him, our "cure" will be getting to heaven, until than, sorry we have to deal with this evil in our lives.
Let's not talk about home shows, and help each other in fighting TOGETHER with this problem, I am not the only one that has this problem.
Thank you for letting me say this.

I have no idea if this will be any help whatsoever or not, but here it goes.
I know that some of the guys in my husband's group have had trouble finding jobs. He attended a group about 100 miles from where we live, and his probation officer and I both were present when job hunting was discussed. My husband's probation officer said that some of his clients use him as a reference on job applications. If it asks what you were convicted or charged with the PO said that some clients will write that they can contact the PO for more information. He said that he (the PO) is then able to talk with the prospective employeer and can tell them about the growth he has seen in the client and their potential to do a good job and be a good employee. Now it may make a difference that we had a Christian PO, but it may be worth a try.
