Some of my favourite memories are of eating - at home - or at restaurants.  I'd like to consider this topic as being not just for describing meals but anything edifying that might be associated with them.  So often it is a sociable event.  I'd like to use this thread to talk about how the Bible describes food and occasions associated with it. Thus, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Last Supper, Marriage at Cana, etc.

sushi, yogurt, pudding, dark chocolate

foods me an her both like :)

funny, on Valentine's Day I gave her dark chocolate and didn't even know that she especially liked it.

as for meat... beef is good, i also enjoy eating fish. :)

thank God for all His guidance and creations

a question: uh... were Adam and Eve vegetarians before the fall?

God bless!

count your blessings, name them one by one

keep clean! never let the lame excuses "make sense"

since we really don't know, the question is immaterial to a rightous God's plan of salvation.
the important aspect is that adam ate that which he was not supposed to.

Durian....
If you can... try... it's veeery delicious. (although some westerners thought that it was a 'fear factor' food)

Sambal terasi
which is fermented baby shrimps mixed with spices and chilis, again... fear factor material.

Padang Food
all of them are very spicy and literally drenched in coconut milk with chili

And so, 'normal ones are'
Chinese foods, lamb satay, steaks, my mother can make a very special homemade pork chops... which is really great.

i think god did plan for us to be vegetarians.

thanksgiving is around the corner.... can't wait to eat me some turkey! my mom will make the dressing, she puts lots of sage in it & it's so yummy... mashed taters, cranberry sauce, sweet potato pies... oh man, i think i just gained 5 lbs...

we have a local pastor who thinks that since jesus celebrated traditional jewish holidays we should too. like observing the passover and etc.. i have been thinking about it.

Sam,

Whether we eat meat or vegetables only, whether we observe feast days or none, are issues on which a variety of opinions among Christians is acceptable.  Whatever we do is to honor the Lord.  Romans 14:1-9.
