Anyone here like Nascar? I used to fallow it a little in years past but the last few years both my wife and I have come to enjoy it more and more.
I can't wait for Daytona to get started next month.
Anyone else?

| I will be honest, I don't watch NASCAR very often, if at all. It's not that I don't enjoy it, I really do once I watch, but I just don't have the time. Sorry, I can't be of any assistance. Did watch the NHL All-Star game? Didn't think so...I'm from Canada, it's too cold to start my car, I can't be into racing. There is ice everywhere though......

I must confess if you told me ten years ago I would be spending a few hours each week watching a bunch of guys drive in a circle, I would have said you're crazy!
I was a surprised myself when I realized I liked it.

Hello Art
I was just roaming this morning and saw this site.
I love to watch NASCAR
I was a big Dale E. fan. It was really a sad day for the sport when he died.
You either loved or hated him but I think everyone misses him.
Since his death I guess Little E is my favorite driver but there are several I like.
The main thing I don't like about it is like any other sport i guess, all you see is beer and whiskey.
One thing I do admire about it is that they always have a prayer before the race. I wonder how long it will be before someone brings a suit against them for that.
Anyway, I also look forward to the season beginning.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for your kind words. Big Dale was always good to have around and I have mixed feelings about his racing legend. I sure didn't want what happened. I like Dale Jr, but my main guy is Carl Edwards and I hope this year is a lot better than last year!
I don't drink either, and I guess I pretty much have gotten where I don't see or pay attention to the beer and hard liquor signs.
The prayer is our favorite part of the race (and seeing who's going to give a strong one and who's going to go middle of the road)
I'd also to like to see Morgan Shepared get into a few races with the Jesus Racing Team again this year.
