I wonder if we need the line at the bottom of the forum home page, "Please welcome our newest member, . . ." Right now, the newest member is usually a person or bot with a triggering name or URL, peddling porn or drugs. It's not usually an actual hurting human looking for help. I'm probably not alone in finding this line triggering at times, and in worrying about the inadvertant advertising we offer people by displaying it. I wonder if we really need this line, and if not, if there's an easy way to get rid of it?
Just a thought of possible use to the weak among us.

I know what Tim means, most of these new members have homepages that may contain triggers, so why don't we just erase the "homepage" in all our profile...
Since most of us humans doesn't even have any homepage... (In my opinions)
Or just filter the ones with a homepage... and block them...

Can Tech Mission, in the changes to this site, please remove the display of new members' "welcome our newest user" function, or otherwise prevent members displaying any pornographic urls in their profiles?
Thank you

Hey Guitarist, thank you for your comment about the new member messages.
We're just getting our bearings here. I will see what I can do about this issue. By all means holler if you see any such foolishness. I'll look for a long-term solution.
