Well, I have been gone for sometime now, not because I had forgotten about you guys, but because my life has been really hectic. My dad is dying, my husbands Mom is dying, we are closing our business, my daughter her husband and three small children ages 1, 2, and 4 all moved in with us last year, after only a month her husband left leaving them here and has not been heard from since.
But in the mist of all the chaos my husband has remained faithful in his recovery. I have to admit it has not been easy, for him nor I. But God has been faithful and just to get us through this. It was suggested that we find something to do together just the two of us that was healthy and was as far away from the notions of sex as we could get. In today's world that was not an easy task, but we took up bowling......lol
Funny but it has saved our marriage, we spend a lot of time together bowling and we are even going to join a summer league of doubles all husband and wife teams. God has used this as an aid to my husband recovory no matter how silly it seems. Just the other night a young girl half dressed was bowling next to us and one of the guys that work there pointed her out to my hubby, he looked at the guy and said "stop it she is someone's daughter and that man needs his butt kicked for letting her leave the house like that." then he asked if we could change lanes. I was proud of him for that.
Ladies where there is breath there is hope and healing, you guys have been in my prayers and now the business is almost wrapped up I will have a little more time to spend here. God bless each and everyone.

Your post was very encouraging! I remember when I first read that a man enjoys a wife who will have fun with him! It was a shock to me, because we had gotten so caught up in the ways of marriage.. work, housework, kids, homework, carpooling, etc... that we had forgotten to have fun together!
Congrats on the progress, and hope the stress level settles down soon!

That must be such an encouragement to you and especially when these busy and difficult times are happening, it would give you the strength to press on together with the Lord. Praying for your family, especially your daughter.
Blessings
