Hi girls, you know I have been talking to God all weekend about this website and the hurting women that I have come to know in the past couple of days.  My question, "is anyone doing anything to help themselves heal?  How about 20 minutes a day of something you enjoy, such as walking, reading, planting flowers, etc.  It seems we are consumed by our husband's sins and dwell in sadness.  The Bible says that we are to make a joyful sound unto the Lord and that the "Joy of the Lord is our Strength".  C'mon ladies let's dig deep and start healing.  What do you say?  Any comments?

I think there are times (like especially in the beginning or after a new discovery) it IS very consuming to think about.

I go through about three days to a week now when new things are discovered.

With God's help it gets shorter with each episode.

I have a call on my life - a definitive call and typically this will distract me from my call which I have learned to not do.

Doing what I am created to do (outside wife and mother) makes me very happy and fullfilled. Not that being a wife and mother doesn't make me happy - just saying - doing what I know I am to do.

Recently in addition to the projects I am working on, I got a world bank to fill with change to send to my denomination's mission board so we work on that.

Spending time with the children who seem to need extra attetion when things go south between us also helps. They didn't ask for this either.
