| I had a long but blessed day today. I'm drained. Sometimes these are the hardest times for me to hold on. I feel so much like taking pleasure in evil things tonight. Please pray for me that I remain strong and faithful to the lord. The lord gave me such a blessed day today Please pray that I don't throw away his blessing by masturbating.

Praying that you allow God to lift your spirit and, in a time of tempation, that He provide a peculiar and sovereign exit that puts distance between you and your triggers.
We will never be rid of temptation, not while we're breathing air that is and if we were above temptation we'd be aloof and no good to anybody.
I pray God gives you the right frame of mind to deal with it.

| My prayers to you also my good man! One day, one hour, one minute at a time. After a hard stressful day at work I also feel tempted. IMO and I see this in so many posts, there is this horrible self condemnation and guilt about masturbation. If it is done with a lustful mind or with porn I agree it is wrong, but as a needed sexual release done in the right fashion IMO it isn't such a Draconian thing. I expressed how I dealt with it in my last accountability post. We are sexual beings. We just aren't supposed to deal with it in the wrong fashion. Just my opinion. God help the kids who are condemned to hell by their parents when it is thought that they are doing this.

When people constantly disagree on the subject, it's good to leave the cacophony of voices behind you, read God's Word, and listen out for that "still small voice" which is the Holy Spirit speaking to you. I will pray for you as well. I ask for you continued prayer that I remain faithful to God. Pray too that sexaul desire I am fighting to control can be directed towards my wife and used as intended.
