| I am new to this forum, but I want to make a confession. Last night I gave into masturbation for the first time in a month. The only good thing about that is I did not use porn (thank God). Still, it was wrong. I allowed my mind to go places where it should not have gone and I gave in to it. I have ask for forgiveness from the Lord and have repented. I soaked myself in the Word last night and I felt comforted. I am determined by the grace of God that I have overcame masturbation and porn. I have not viewed porn in a month-thank God. Please keep me in your prayers. For me this battle has taken up most of my life. I am 47 years old. The good thing is that the desire to look at porn is not strong as it used to be. I have been hooked on porn for nearly 30 years. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I know I am free by the grace of God. In spite of what happened last night, I confess that I am free! I am becoming more aware of the trigger points. Please keep me in your prayers! I thank God for this forum.

Just like to acknowlege your courage for posting and your confession.
That was a pretty exciting year for me. I was about 5yo. Do hope you find resources here that will assist you. You're on a noble mission.
