You are right it can be eraised" and for some it has been. I could show you through out the Bible, both Old and New teastment.
BUT please read more into that letter to the church. He does not say it is eraised but can/will be. He tells them how to save themselves from it being eraised. He tells them to "Come Back to Me".
David it says that he was the apple of Gods eye. Yet he commited murder, adulity and several other sins. Yet God loved him, Why when he found himself in sin he went to God asking forgivness and recieved it.
When you are tempted and sin, do nto stay there. Go to God and honestly tell Him you are sorry and ask for forgivness. He will take yo back. He loves you. He has already prayed for you. Read John 17: 19-20 those words are for you and the rest of us. He will not let you go unless you want "to go your own way". You are saved.
