Hello, and welcome.
Scripture assures us that if we seek Him, we will find Him. If we knock, the Door will be opened. Scripture also promises that God provides ways to escape, 1 Cor. 10:13, though, of course, it is our responsibility to look for and take them. Praise God that you found this site, and for His never-ending grace.
Praying...

RH09 - I'm 53. And, I started "acting out" when I was 13. And, you know, that's true for almost all the guys on this board, and most of us are 25+. (++). So, this is the perfect age for you to get the help you need to get past this. And, you will need some help. I don't know anything about your family situation, church situation, etc., but, if you were my son, I'd 1) take you to get counseling from a professional Christian counselor who has lots of experience with sexual addictions, 2) encourage you to talk with your pastor, 3) encourage you to talk to me (i.e., your dad, or a mature adult that you trust, with your parents' permission) every day for at least a couple of minutes about how you're doing with it, how you're "feeling", etc. Coming out of "isolation" is the first step, and posting on this board is a fine start, but please try to take some of the above steps. You can pray and read the Bible all you want, and it's necessary, but your chances for long-term success depend on getting some help... You can do it! Absolutely no better time in your life than right now, while you're young and have a bright future ahead of you! Praying for you...

Glad to hear you want to take care of this at such a young age. The smartest thing you will ever do. I suggest getting into some really deep Bible study before you go to bed. Get your mind so into God's word, Satan wouldn't stand a chance. Know you can beat this, the fact that your admitting it at 15 is a huge accomplishment in itself.
God Bless you man

Renthead,
Don't worry about letting us down. We all have been there. I can't tell you how many times I crashed out before alone over the last few months before finding this site. For me thing biggest key so far is doing what you have started, public accountability with others.
I am going to use that old expression of get back on that horse that bucked you off.
(I'm a former ranch hand, been there, done that) I got into porn at 8 years old and didn't even realize it was a "sin" until I was 30. It is a blessing you realize what you are into now.
Read David, sometimes it's not that you fall short, it's what you do with it. This walk is not a easy walk, it's gonna be hard at times, it's going to hurt, If it was easy, anyone could do it.
You made it almost three days, (if I had a dollar for every time I was going to stop that day and fell not an hour or two later..) What was the things you learned from it? Either good or bad, whatever experience you picked up will be a tool the next time you find yourself slipping either for what worked or didn't work for you. Experience can be a crutch or a tool, so always use it as a tool.
I cannot count the times that I let the Lord down, but I repented, went into prayer about it and I go on. I don't take my sin lightly, but have come to a point that I realize that just beating myself up is not serving Him either, repenting, learning and listening to whatever He is trying to tell me (like I can't do anything without Him for example) is what He does to teach me.
Study your Bible, pray, and know that we will be here to give you support.
You are on the right track, don't give up, as Paul would say, keep up the Good Fight!
I look forward to seeing your next day 1 (and 2,3,4,etc) post!
God Bless
Art
(I mean all what I written as positive encouragement, I hope it reads that way.)

RH09,
I echo Art's earlier post: You are in my prayers. I pray that all of us may recognize the damage that sexual sin does to us, our wives (if we are married), our nation, our perception of our own sin. (Our hearts get hardened to this stuff).
Keep fighting and praying. We are in this together.
God Bless

I just want to say a couple of things: 1 I am proud of you and think you are one of the smartist kids I know. When I was your age I was so dumb I thought the things I was doing was cool. Now that is dumb! 2 another place you might want to go it http://www.settingcaptivesfree.com the lessions are free and have helped me. Try the freedom course for kids.
The hardest thing is to admit that we can not do this thing alone. That is satans biggest lies. "Hey man there is nothing wrong, everybody does it". I remember when I used the line, when I wanted to do something, everybody si doing it. My father would just look at me and in a no nonsince tone say, "No everybody isn't doing it, cause you aren't doing it....."
Soon after I started to come clean I was afraid of Satan's power and temptations. We had a revival at church and I went up to ask for prayer. The pastor told me something that I will always hold close.
When we have temptations we can only do 3 things with it:
1: Pick it up and sin.
2: Walk away from it and try not to look back. This is called "white knekling" and what uselly happens is that it keeps playing on us bringing us back to it and we then "pick it up".
or 3: Give it to Jesus. After all He bought and paid for it on the cross. If we pick it up after that we are stealing it from Him.
I am praying for you but you also have someone that has prayed and still praying for you. Read John 17: 20 - 26 this He mentioned Brian's name and knew then of your fight. He loves you with Him we can win.
