This has been one of those days. I couldn't get to sleep last night, I laid down and tried to sleep and it just didn't happen, just thinking about everything. Got to sleep about five am.
I had dreams all morning about mostly being powerless over this addiction and being caught up in some very vivid and weird situations. I must have woke up and went back to sleep with the same dreams about five times.
I awoke in "That Mood" one hundred percent early this afternoon . I laid there and would not myself move a muscle until I prayed and thought out everything and I could smile to myself and repeat these word to the evil one several times "Nice Try"
I am wiped out and didn't get a thing done today, but I also didn't give in to my addiction either.
I leave for work in half an hour and it will be all good after that. I will be too busy for awhile and be able to give my mind a rest as I concentrate on work for a bit.
I am very happy and thankful right now, today is the hardest day so far. I know it all triggers today from the fact I am praying on some directions to take and the old self is really fighting it right now, but He is faithful!

APR,
Congratulations! Sometimes we just have to white-knuckle it through. I came across this website some time ago. The author is a strong Christian guy, who recommends a form of Biblical meditation. It has helped me through some sleeplessness and given me a peace I haven't had before. You may find it useful for those tough nights.
