Hey guys I am new to this forum and website it seems like a great place to get some support.

I started my recovery (Seriously anyway) over two years ago.  I was doing great, never had one slip up until a couple of months ago.

I still have not M-word since I started recovery, but 10 months ago I moved from CO to Southern California for a job.  I work IT at my job and was just EXTREMELY bored so I started trying to play "Investigator" on other people's computers (accessing them from mine) to see if they are into porn.  Well sure enough I found some and basically closed the window immediately, but my heart was racing.  Well since then I have had to take a couple more glances and then I did a couple of searches on the web but once I saw the porn I would close the window as fast as I could.

I don't know why I have done this, and I thought that I had totally beat this thing because of going two + years sober.

Anyways I think that the two biggest reasons for falling are 1) Lost my entire support group and friends.  2) Moved to a job where I spend 8 hours a day doing NOTHING, alone in a computer room.

Anyways hello to everyone, and thanks for listening

By Grace, welcome to the forum!

I don't have much time to write, but I do want to urge you to get back into finding some form of accountability anda group out there in California. Mike, the webmaster of this site, often says "Isolation is death!" ... and I couldn't agree with that statement any more!

Thanks for your honesty.

-Steve

Thanks Truthseeker and Steve,

For some reason I was thinking that I could just hide out and everything would be good till I leave this place.  I am realizing that is not the case.  I am now getting connected with my church and one of my accountability guys just moved here, so things should get better.

Thanks for your prayers,
