Today I am fine I just got put on disability and it gave me a lot of time on my hands. So I thought that I would download a messenger and chat a little in the christian rooms. Well when I had been chatting for a few hours an old friend showed up and old memories came back. (I used to cyber with her) BOOM off went the messenger. It made me stop and think if it was her that I was after the whole time. Men, stay clean, just for today

Hey man, I'm searching for an online accountability partner, do they exist besides posting on forums? Maybe a few of us can get on Yahoo Messenger and keep each other accountable, or AIM in real time.
I want to start a website free to connect people with other Christians to keep each other accountable. What does everyone think about it?

Hi human, this is toddlerguy here. Incidentally this is also my yahoo mssgr id. I have introduced myself in the introduction posts. Mike, I would like to be accountable but most of the times i dont know where to start becoz i cant control my sexual addictions...maybe control for a day or two and then fall into the same rut. I NEED HELP!!
Human, as regards the website, I think blazinggrace is a fantastic website and I think we need to build on the good work done by Mike and spread the good word about this site around. Mike, maybe you could think of enabling members to contact each other.

The ability already exists with private messaging. Just click on the name of the user you want to p.m. and select "send a private message."

I've been thinking about this; if I were to find a way where you guys could all call into one phone no. and we could do a "Strength in Numbers meeting" on the phone 1 hour a week, would you participate ?

Would it be possible to do it by an online service such as Skype? This would be much less expensive - especially for people such as myself who do not have an income.

Hi Mike,
I was reading through this today and the thought occured to me about a chat room. What about adding an online chat room, and holding accountability meetings in the chat room at a certain time every week. You could even recruit other members to facilitate, if it became popular and too much for one person. Just a thought.
Also, if anyone would like an online accountability partner, I'm available via AIM at mcrawfordpmsi

Re phone support group - I found a service for phone conferencing that is free, but when I offered phone groups in the newsletter this past July I think I had 3 persons interested, in different categories.
Once I'm finished writing the book I'll have more free time and can look setting up a phone group again.
What's Skype ?
