| I'm new here. I'm so glad I found this site. I have struggled with Porn the better part of my 62 yrs. on this earth. My story is the same as most of you. I was exposed to dirty pictures and magazines of half naked women at a very early age. It progressed in my early teenage yrs. Some very bad habits set in that would influence and control my thought patterns for yrs. to come. At first I thought nothing of it. I thought it to be harmless. Little did I know how powerful this habit would become. I progressed from Playboy and Penthouse to harder stuff like Hustler and others. Sometime in the 70's when Pornography became legal I really got hooked. All the x rated videos and mags were totally irresistable for me. It's been a life long struggle. Then the world wide web came along and almost instantly I was hooked on internet porn. I never got involved with the credit card stuff, only the free stuff. Believe me there is an abundance of free adult sites out there. In the past couple of yrs. I have tried to leave it alone but failed over and over and over. I prayed to God that He would forgive me and take this thorn from my side. It was affecting my marriage in the way that I viewed my wife, not to speak of my relationship with God. I know that I have to get involved with other men and be accountable to someone daily. I am reading a book called "Breaking Free" by Russell Willingham and he says this very thing throughout the book. So, here I am reaching out to anyone who is willing to hold me accountable daily. I know that God can perform miracles. I want to do His will and be more like Jesus. I pray that He will give me the desire to do His will. Thank you so much for listening.

welcome hans,
i am happy you are here. i have only been on this site for a couple of months and i am already seeing the fruits of being able to share my struggles with others. your prayers to be more like christ and do his will are mine too. you can count on me to be in prayer for you. may god bless you greatly!
