| Watched Sopranos tonight. I love the show. Unfortunately they have alot of scenes in the infamous Bada Bing (strip joint). It triggered me a little bit as that once was one of my favorite past times. By about the fourth scene in the strip club I thought better of it and looked away. I just wanted to get this out in the open so it doesn't fester. I don't want those thoughts to grow. I 've found sexual thoughts are like mold. They grow best in dark places. I'm trying to show them a little light by posting here. I hope you all will keep me in your prayers that the lustful images I saw tonight don't cause me to fall.

I dont think its a good show in the first place... doesnt it have a lot of cuss words?
i never watched it, i think it does have a lot of negative content.

| I'm so glad that you can see that the show is very tempting. My H also watches it and says he just turns his head when the Bada Bing scenes are on. Isn't that playing with fire? And yes it is riddled with curse words and hate. It's pretty much sin tv. There's no spiritual value, no educational value, no entertainment value. I think it's actually spiritually damaging. I pray that you can avoid this easily excused temptation of "just tv." It's a huge accomplishment just to realize the danger.

good point. That's why when we are trying to justify it it seems so superficial the excuses we give: its just tv, but is it about tv? no. deep down, its what we see on tv and the message it tries to get across.
not to be nosy: hows things? I hope your husband is still staying clean.
